My wife sent me to Ikea to get some plates so of course I couldn’t resist a cheeky half hour blam up Lakey. I didn’t even forget the plates so result all round

My man Amoe DV told us about an old school writers drinky up Covent so any excuse to paint, I was there. Spent 45 minutes knocking this out before going on a pub crawl around Covent with some decent blokes including Trip, Kersa, Amoe, Unit, Tase, Sigher, Kerb, Hope and other TRC boys.

Another trip to Lakey. This time with my man Unit. This was the day after his 40th birthday so we were both a bit ropey. Cracking night with loads of old faces including Petro, Amoe, Floe, Oker, Lens and Tenam. Unit has also only just started painting again too. We both gave up at the same time all though years ago after some heavy police business resulting in us getting well done. He helped me do a video of this piece. Cheers Unit.

We met Cry up there doing her halloween piece. Top sister and damned good artist so respect where respect is due. She even helped Bryn with a can control lesson

I enjoyed the last piece with different colours so much I thought I’d try it again. Dream came with me again on this trip.

I really enjoyed this piece. Dream and I rocked up there with tons of paint. Thought I’d try different colours for every letter. Pretty happy with it.

I did this about the time of Robbo’s fund raiser. Really gutted I couldn’t make it on the day. I dedicated this piece to him and hope he pulls through this. I’d love to paint with him one day. Peace to all of Robbo’s family including Doze and Choci WRH.

This was my second comeback piece. Me and my old mate Skore thought we’d do a DV collaboration piece. Damn that boy’s got good over the years. He seems to have built up quite a name for himself and too right. He’s been at it for a long time. Skore was always the best around our area back in the 80′s. It’s good to see him getting some recognition for his fine contributions.

I was really pleased our old mate Dvize came down for the day. It’s been 2 decades since we painted together. Unit and Dream came too but I didn’t get pictures of their work that day. Sorry lads.

I decided that DV should be re-born. I’m not in any crew so I’ll re-incarnate the old Dedicated Vandals name. Not that I vandalise anything these days I was proud to be in this crew back in the day so why the hell not. Original DV members were: Score, Dvize, Dose, Unit, Theme, 2Fine, Cel One, Bos 22, Amoe, Atak, Eneme and Dome. Proper bunch of TRoubled Children. We all turned out alright I reckon.

It’s been 23 years since I picked up a can of paint. My friend Matty Dread helped by explaining the paints available. It’s changed alot since the old days of Krylon, Hammerite and Homebase paints I’m pleased to say. So with a bag of 94, I went up to Lakey.

I couldn’t believe the quality of the work up there. You’ve got to remember, I have been out of the scene for so long, it was a shock to see how good people are these days. So after a long walk to the furthest point of the wall, I did my first piece in 23 years. I know it’s not up to much but it is a start and it gave me a chance to test out my paint.

I met Crane, Riot and Freehand up there that day. Top blokes who were friendly.
